Craps
Craps is played with two dice by throwing the dice from one end of the table to the other. Payoffs are made based on number combination displayed when the dice come to rest.
How To Play
Betting the Pass Line A game in Craps begins with a Come Out roll. When the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 on the first throw (The Come-out roll) it is an automatic win. If 2, 3 or 12 rolls, it is called "craps" and you lose your Pass Line bet. Any other number on our Come Out roll (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) becomes your "Point". Your Point will be marked with an ON marker. You win if you can roll the Point before you roll 7. You lose if 7 shows before you roll your Point. Pass Line bets cannot be removed once the point is established. Place these bets in the area marked Pass Line on the table. Betting the Don't Pass Bar This is the reverse of betting the "Pass Line" on the come out roll. You lose on a 7 or 11, and win if a 2 or 3 rolls (12 is a standoff, no one wins). If the dice roll 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 it becomes your Point. You win if you roll a 7 before your "Point" is repeated. You lose if your "Point" is made before rolling a 7. Place these bets in the area marked Don't Pass Line on the table. Come Bets (Same principle as a Pass Line bet) Come bets is wagering with the dice, exactly as on the Pass Line, except that Come bets are made any time after the Come-out roll. You win on naturals 7 or 11, and you lose on craps 2, 3 or 12. Any other number becomes your come-point (your chips move to the come-point), you win if your come-point is made before rolling a 7. You loose if 7 is rolled before your come-point. Place these bets in the area marked Come on the table. Don't Come Bets (Same principle as a Don't Pass Line bet) The reverse of betting the Come. You lose if the next roll is a 7 or 11, and win on a 2 or 3 (12 is a stand-off). Here you will win if 7 rolls before your Don't Come Point is repeated, and lose if the Don't Come Point is made before a 7 is rolled. Place these bets in the area marked Don’t Come Bar on the table. Place Win Bets You may make a Place Win Bet any time on any or all of the following numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. If the number you have placed rolls before a 7 you win. Payouts are at the following rates. Any Place Win bets placed before a point has been established will be marked with an OFF marker. As soon as the point has been made their chip value will display and the bet will become active. Place Lose Bets Similar to a Place Win Bet except you are paid if you roll a seven before the number you have placed. Payouts are at the following rates. Buy Bets A buy bet is the same as a place bet, but with a different payout rate. To distinguish the buy bet from a COME bet the wager is labeled with a BUY marker. BUY bets are usually made on the 4, 5, 6,8, 9 or 10. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. A 5% commission is charged on winning BUY bets. Payouts are at the following rates. Lay Bets The opposite of a buy bet. A lay bet will be labeled with a LAY marker. Lay bets are usually made on the 4,5,6,8,9 or 10. A Lay bet wins when 7 roll before the number. A 5% commission is charged on winning LAY bets. Payouts at the following rates. Pass Line Odds Bets To place odds on your pass line bet, you must wait until a point number has been established. There are different payoffs for each point. Unlike the original pass line bet, an unresolved pass line odds bet may be removed. Place a pass line odds bet by clicking on the craps table outside of the PASS LINE bar, under your original pass line bet. Don't Pass Line Odds Bets Place a don't pass line odds bet by clicking on the right side of your original bet in the Don't Pass Bar on the 6x6 dice image. Come and Don't Come Odds Bets Come and don't come odds bets are placed beneath the Come and Don't come bets, after they have been moved to the point's box. Hardway bets There are four Hardway bets: 4, 6, 8 and 10. To win on a Hard way bet, the dice must show a pair before the number 7 is rolled or any other combination of the Hard way number is rolled. For example, if you choose hard 6, the number must be rolled as 3 & 3, before any combination of a 6 (4/2; 5/1; 2/4; 1/5) is rolled. Proposition Bets Proposition bets are all one-roll bets that are decided on the next roll of the dice. Proposition bets are located in the center of the table. Here is an explanation of these bets. |
